Ms Boitumelo Matlhaga

Director of Economic Statistics

Ms Boitumelo Matlhaga is Director of Economic Statistics and she joined Statistics Botswana in 2013. Before she joined Statistics Botswana, Ms Matlhaga was with the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning which she joined in 1987 as an Assistant Finance Administrator until she left as Manager Corporate Services (Development, Finance and Procurement). She also once worked for Botswana Telecommunications Corporation as Demand Forecasting Manager. Ms Matlhaga has BA Social Sciences majoring in Economics and Statistics which she obtained from the University of Botswana in 1987 and Masters of Arts in Economics and Econometrics which she got from the University of Kent at Cantebury in 1993
